How do I get from the Airport to Clinica Vintersol?

What kind of clothes and other items should I pack?

In addition to your regular clothes and items we recommend:

  • Comfortable casual wear (for example tracksuit) and nightwear
  • Sportswear (indoors and out)
  • Swimwear (swimming trunks or bathing suit, bathrobe, bathing shoes)
  • Street shoes, slippers and sports shoes
  • Something to protect you from the sun, sun lotion, sun glasses and a hat
  • Toiletries (Shampoo, shower gel etc.)
  • Hair dryer
  • Your prescribed medication
  • Books, Radio, mp3 player
Do I need to bring towels?

We provide you with bath and hand towels in your room. In addition you will receive a smaller blue towel to use during your treatments, when you participate in group gymnastics or exercise in the gym.

Pool/ Beach Towels can be obtained at reception for a deposit of 20 €. Towels with the Vintersol logo are also available to purchase at reception.

When will I have treatments?

Treatments usually take place Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5pm. Weekends are for relaxation and social activities.

Can I buy drinks and food in Vintersol?

Inpatients usually have all meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Coffee and Dinner) included in their rehabilitation programme. Outpatients can purchase vouchers at reception for individual meals. 

Please be aware that tap water in Tenerife is not drinkable. In your room we will provide one 1.5 Liter bottle of still water per day. Additional bottles can be purchased at reception or in stores outside Vintersol.

Please note that it is not allowed to drink alcohol in Vintersol. We also recommend refraining from drinking any alcohol during your rehabilitation.

Do you offer leisure time activities?

Yes we do. Our Team creates a Leisure programme that is based on sorts, culture and entertainment. We strive to offer a broad range of activities that appeal to people of all ages, with different interests and physical conditions so that as many people as possible can participate.

Weekdays are “working day”s and therefore activities are organized in the evenings, mostly here "at home" in Vintersol. Saturdays are excursion days.

The leisure programme also relies on patients efforts and participation, we consider it as a learning and fun element of our rehabilitation concept.

Does my room have air condition?

Yes, all patient rooms in Vintersol are equipped with air condition. We require 80€ deposit for the remote control which you can get at reception.

Can I wash my laundry at Vintersol?

We offer a self-service facility with washing machine and dryer, please speak to reception about pricing and timings.

Is there Wifi available?

Yes, you will have access to free wifi during your stay.
